About the Site
The name “MilkPop” might not have anything to do with films, in fact, it doesn’t at all, it’s simply a domain I already owned and like. Nevertheless, this page is my own little place to vent about my love and admiration for films. I’m not attempting to say anything profound, new, perfectly written, or maybe even that interesting, I just need an outlet for something I’m passionate about. This website will also give me an excuse to further my knowledge.
But the real point of milkpop is this: I would like to share my love for films to garner more interest and appreciation for something I care about. If it’s pointing someone in the direction of a film they end up enjoying, or if I can change how someone thinks about film alltogether, that would make me happy. But honestly, I do just enjoy talking about film an awful lot, it’s not that grandiose, honest…
What will most likely appear here are film reviews (new releases), film focus (a slightly more indepth look at films from past to present), director information, and general musings and information about all things related to film.
